ENGINE Internally lubricated parts; cylinder head(s); intake manifold; pistons; piston rings; wrist pins; connecting rods and rod bearings; crank-shaft and main bearings; crank-shaft and main bearings; camshaft and bearings; timing chain and gears; valve covers; rockers arms/shafts and bushings; valves; valve springs; seats and guides; valve push rods; hydraulic valve lifters; oil pump; oil pan; and fly wheel. Engine block only if damages as a result of the failure of the above internally lubricated covered components. Cylinder head and intake manifold gaskets are covered for coolant leaks only. Coverage limited to above components. Timing belts turbo chargers, and super chargers are not covered. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION Internally lubricated parts; torgue converter; bands; pump; pump housing; carrier assembly; planetary gears; drums; reaction shaft; governor; valve body; and servo assemblies. MANUAL TRANSMISSION Internally lubricated parts; main shaft; counter shaft; all gears; input shaft; hub assemblies; synchronizers; shift rails; shift fork; and internal transmission bearings. A manual clutch and related components are not covered DRIVE AXLE ASSEMBLY Internally lubricated parts; front or rear drive axle housing and all internal parts; pinion bearings; wheel bearings; side carrier bearings; ring and pinion; side gears and case;thrust washers and spacers; drive shaft; universal joints; constant velocity joints and 4x4 hubs. Housing only if damaged as a result of the failure of the above internally lubricated covered components. Coverage limited to above components. Seals & Gaskets Seals and gaskets are covered only when required in conjuction with the replacement of a covered component. Labor The authorized time for a repair shall be based on the current Mitchells Mechanical Labor Estimating Guide, and the hourly labor rate will be based on the shop’s accepted flat rate to rapair or replace the covered component in question, but not exceed forty-five($45.00) dollars per hour. Rental Benefits You will be reimbursed twenty-five($25.00) dollars for each eight hours of Mitchell’s Mechanical Labor Estimating Guide time to repair or replace the covered component with a maximum benefit of three hundred ($300) dollars per claim. Down time, regardless of reason, is not included. Towing Should your vehicle need to be towed due to the failure of a covered component, u will be reimbursed up to ($50) dollars, if proof of towing is provided. |
